The Bangkok Arts and Culture Centre (BACC)

If you’re an art and culture enthusiast or enjoy leisurely gallery strolls, Bangkok has a hidden gem just for you! The Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC) may not be everyone’s first choice, but it’s a treasure trove of knowledge and inspiration waiting to be explored.

Before BACC, Bangkok lacked a world-class art gallery. Thanks to visionary Thai artists, this contemporary art hub was born. Their mission? To nurture intellectual growth and enrich our society with artistic and cultural resources.

BACC stands out not just for its art but also its awe-inspiring architecture. Designed by Robert G. Bui and Associates, this 25,000 sqm masterpiece is a unique cylindrical wonder. It’s bathed in natural light, creating a perfect setting for the exhibits. Key design concepts:

Functional Flexibility: Diverse spaces for various art forms.

Cultural Identity: A reflection of Thai culture and contemporary art.

Art-Friendly: Designed to prioritize art display.

Uniqueness: A central area setting the tone for the entire space.
